With Horizon Wimba Voice Tools, instructors can easily incorporate synchronous and asynchronous voice recordings into teaching and learning activities that traditionally are text-based. Six of the tools are available as "PowerLinks" through the WebVista course management system in use on campus:
- Podcaster enables instructors and students to create podcasts and subscribe to them.
- Voice Board enables instructors and students to engage in audio-based threaded discussions.
- Voice Direct enables instructors and students to engage in audio- and text-based chat sessions.
- Voice Email enables instructors and students to send voice recordings with e-mail messages.
- Voice Presentation enables instructors to annotate web content/URLs with voice and text.
- Voice Recorder enables instructors and students to create voice recordings that can be posted online.
